I'm heading for the God Blog Con bright and early tomorrow.
I've been too busy getting ready for this and cramming four days of work into two this week that I've had no time to blog. Hopefully I'll be able to blog with some live updates from the convention.
I'm not sure what the plan is for any live feeds (I haven't heard of any) but if there are I'll be on the plenary panels (with Joe Carter of Evangelical Outpost, and Andy Jackson of SmartChristian Blog, moderated by John Schroeder of Blogotional) at 9:00am and 1:30pm on Friday and I'm doing a seminar on theological blogging on Saturday at 9:00am. So, if there are no live feeds, please do pray for me anyway that I will be at least partially coherent and helpful.
I'm working on a paper on theological blogging which I hope to finish on the airplane tomorrow, so when I get it ready I'll post it online.
Thursday night, the nice folks at Grace Hill Media are sponsoring a pre-release screening of Elizabethtown for all of the attendees. It will make my daughter jealous that I get to see Orlando Bloom and she doesn't, but she needn't worry, I'm not near as thrilled at watching him as she would be, so she won't have to worry that I will be experiencing some joy in seeing Orlando that she can't experience. From the previews though, the movie looks good.
So, off I go, I'll try to give updates on my time in Cal-i-forn-eye-aye whenever I can.
Update - this just in - check out the Fox News story on the convention here -

Notice that they interviewed John Schroeder, moderator of our plenary panel!! Way to go John - you've hit the big time!
Say hello to my alma mater for me.

Just thought I'd chime in to say I'm planning on liveblogging the conference as much as I can (power supplies and wireless netowrks permitting). Assuming that there isn't an official live feed or audio or something, I'll do what I can to cover as much as possible on my blog - http://www.sarcasmagorical.com.

Biola has done an excellent job opening up their wireless network for your use; guess you've been too busy with conversations and paying attention to the sessions to get some liveblogging in sideways :)
