You may have noticed that, on the left side of my blog I have a new link called "In Partnership With" and underneath it is a feedburner animation for Adrian Warnock's UK Evangelical Blog. Adrian mentioned this on his blog here. This is my way of saying thanks to Adrian and acknowledging what has been going on for almost a year now.
Adrian is the one who drew me out of blogscurity into a fairly respectable place in the TTLB ecosystem. I had been blogging along for a couple of months until, on April 12, 2004 Adrian gave me a "non-cynical welcome" to the blogosphere, the TTLB ecosystem and the blogdom of God. He also referenced several of my posts on April 12th. My traffic took an immediate jump that day and thanks to his help, it has continued to grow.
I am getting most of the credit for the League of Reformed Bloggers but it was Adrian's idea in the first place. He is the one who set it up and handed it over to me.
Since last April we have tag team blogged on several issues and have found ourselves chasing the same rabbits at various times - though we are separated by an ocean we are often in lock step with each other when it comes to blogging.
So, I want to say thanks to Adrian and do what I can to keep driving traffic to him by putting the feedburner animation up.
Interestingly, after Adrian did his post about our partnership, Razorkiss (an excellent up and coming blog) caught wind of our little "partnership" and discussed it in this post, as an example of networking in the blogosphere.
I wonder how many other similar friendships or informal networks have been formed in the blogosphere?
