Read the above referenced post - its a good one. Its a quick and dirty take on pragmatism that is very relevant to seeker sensitive and emerging church movements, as well as to evangelical fads. Please note as you read it - he is not attacking individual fads or movements, he is addressing the philosophical foundations that produce the fads and movements.
He makes a good point, but I think it falls a bit short. See my commentary here.

Pragmatism is a subject very well covered by Pastor John MacArthur, in his book "The Sufficiency of Christ"
This book is awesome - really. Well worth adding to your read list, if a smart guy like you hasn't already discovered it.

Michael - yes I have read the book - its terrific - alot of what he has written since builds on that book.
