My dad requested today that I wait a day or so to update y'all again, because he said he didn't want people to get sick of hearing about him. I told him that no one cause ever get sick of hearing about him. Am I right?
There aren't many updates about his health, or lack thereof. He saw the liver doctor today and apparently my dad's liver cancer is at stage 4, and I can only guess that's bad. But the doctor also said the chemo would take care of it, just not for a couple more weeks....although, who knows what can happen in a few more weeks. He walked around a lot more today, which was very tiring for him, but it's a sign of good progress. He's still in pain, and right now they're trying to wean him off the morphine. And that's about it on my dad. Have a good night everyone!

Thanks for the update. We will be praying.

Yes, Jollette, you are right! The people who care about you and your family (and there are many!) do not get tired of hearing updates. It helps us to know how to pray. God bless you all and give you peace and comfort.

We have been praying so much for you all - we love you and are glad for the good reports and will pray about the "not so good" parts. Christmas in the hospital is the pits . . . but aren't we grateful there are doctors who are there to take of us - even on Christmas!!
Love to you all . . .
Jim and Jan Scroggins - and the whole Scroggins clan

Dear Wayne family, you have all been on my mind and in my prayers almost constantly since first hearing the news. I agree with Rebekah that there is no such thing as too much news. Please keep us posted as often as possible. It helps us as we pray.

Well Jollette, once again you prove that you have your finger on the pulse of how we all feel much better than your Dad! No one is forced to come here, but speaking personally I find myself coming back here more than once a day, and checking on facebook too to see if there is any more news, even a glimmer. Don't write because you feel you have to, but don't think for a moment we won't be reading every word that you do write. I am praying for you and your mum as well as your Dad as allowing the world to see what is happening in the Wayne family at the moment is not an easy thing. Please don't feel you have to tell us everything, your Dad will wisely guide you on that one. Your heavenly father also is ready to hear everything that is in your heart, you CAN tell him every little thing, all the time knowing that he loves you.
