I put a new pic on the upper left side of the blog - it was time. The other one was five years old and was taken at the Santa Monica pier. It was flattering because at that time my wife and I had been on the Atkins diet and I was at my lowest weight in years. I fell off the wagon and ballooned up again, but I kept that pic up anyway.
Since the old pic was taken in the southwestern most corner of the U.S., it's only fitting that the new pic be from the Northeastern most corner of the U. S. The new pic was taken in a beautiful little cove in East Boothbay Harbor, Maine. My wife took it while we were on our two week vacation. And it shows my true outdoorsy, adventuresome nature - well, the one I daydream about while spending my life in air conditioned buildings reading books, talking on the phone and working on the computer - hehe.
If you are interested in seeing some more photos from our two week trip to New England you can find them here - I haven't gotten around to tagging and labeling them all, but you can see there are some beautiful pics of Mrs. Jolly and the sights in New England.
