Check out Ryan Wentzel . . .
Ryan Wentzel has lots of good information on his blog. He's got info about computers, biblical/theological and apologetic studies and many other good things.
I was especially privileged to be used as a guinea pig for one of his project. Ryan is desiging Firefox search plug-ins for various blog and internet sites. Go to this page and you can find Firefox Search Plug-ins for Jollyblogger, Challies.com, The Bible Bulletin Board, Monergism.com, Modern Reformation, Desiring God and A Puritans Mind. Basically, all you have to do is click on the install button and presto, a new plug-in will be added to your search menu on Firefox. This is the menu in the top corner that comes with searches for Google, Amazon, eBay, Dictionary.com and Yahoo. This is a really cool thing and I want to thank Ryan for his service to all of us with this.
In addition, Ryan lets us know that Google Maps is now available (good news to me, I've never been happy with Yahoo Maps or Mapquest - maybe Google Maps will be better).
He has been posting a series of articles from a friend's apologetics paper called Circling on God. This is a study of Cornelius Van Til's apologetics. The series is now complete and you can find links to all of the posts here.
My favorite post from the last few days is called Am I Really an Evangelical? wherein he questions his own evangelical credentials. It's very tongue in cheek, but it makes a good point. Ryan seems fairly a-political, doesn't listen to or read James Dobson, doesn't enjoy Christian radio, doesn't read books by Rick Warren or John Eldredge and isn't in to "crusade evangelisim." Now, most of us would agree that none of those things define one as an evangelical or a Christian, but voice objectins to those things in many quarters and your evangelical credentials will be called into question.
