My 11 year old daughter, Rebekah has the blogging fever (hey, isn't there a song by that title? "I got the blogging fever, I like blogging down?" Nah, I must be confusing it with something else). Anyway, if you want to know what I'm really like, just check out this entry from her blog from yesterday:
The season of fall is on us again. It is scary, atleast for us kids. We have to do all the raking, while the parents, or at least my dad, goes down stairs, and watches a football game. Although it is my dad, what can you expect? I shouldn't really complain because my parents do all the work around my house. But still, it gets a little agravating. The other day we were raking our leaves. It was probably 1 or 2 days ago. We had this huge pile of leaves. If you fell out of a really tall tree, you probably wouldn't hurt yourself if you landed on the leaves. It was that thick. Anyway, that day we cleared out all the leaves in our front yard, and today, there was almost just as big of a pile of leaves. It was really pathetic. I hope we don't have to rake tonight.I just want to clarify that I do not run down the stairs to watch a football game when the kids are raking, . . . I sit on the computer and blog while they are raking. Then again, I'm a dad, what can you expect?

LOL! Well I can totally understand her perspective...

Bekah
I am glad I am not the only one who does not like to rake. Something we do that makes it fun (if I can use that word when talking about raking) is to make a big pile to jump into before we haul them away. I understand you have a big dog, this might mean you would have to wear a bio-suit. Check with your parents before attempting this.
