Changes to the Blogroll
I've reworked my blogrolls a bit over here on the right side - moved a few things around, deleted a few dead links and added some new folks to the blogroll.
I moved the League of Reformed Bloggers down a little further on the list just for aesthetics. I'm using the code from blogrolling for that one and the evangelical aggregator and for my other lists I'm just using the typepad feature. So, I kept all of the typepad links on top and moved the aggretors lower.
As for deletions, I deleted Flyover Nation and Tolle Blogge. They seem to have gone dead, but if anyone knows where they are or if they have new addresses let me know and I'll add them back.
For the additions I have added Army of One to the politics list. J. D. is definitely on top of things politically and writes from a well-informed Christian perspective.
When I did my last major update there were a few folks whom I didn't quite know how to classify, so I've made up a new category called "More Good Blogs," for folks whom I just didn't know where to fit in to the other categories. So, if you are on this part of the list and think you should be somewhere else, let me know and I'll move you.
As everyone knows I am one of the poster children for reformed theology in the blogosphere, but there are some excellent blogs out there from other traditions that deserve a mention.
One of my favorites is Karl Thienes who is from the Orthodox Tradition. His blog is called St. Stephen's Musings and I recommend you pay him a visit.
My favorite papist is Funky Dung at Ales Rarus. He's rallying the catholic troops in response to all of my leagues and carnivals of reformed bloggers and doe so with a good sense of humor. If you can figure out what Ales Rarus means, he'll give you a prize. Just mention I told you he would.
Country Trunk T is a new blogger (new to me anyway) I have just discovered but whom I am sorry to admit I haven't taken the time to ask where he got the name. Oh well, read him and ask him yourself. I see him as an up and comer in the Christian blog realm.
And last but certainly not least I am very happy to see that my friend and favorite gadfly David Opderbeck is back blogging again after a hiatus of several months. Welcome back David - don't go away again.
Thanks to all of these bloggers for keeping us informed and entertained.
